CHARITY REGISTRATION - we are a registered charity in England and Wales (number 1206268). You can view our charitable purpose at the charity commission website. Our legal structure is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).
FUNDRAISING - we are a member of the fundraising regulator and abide by the code of fundraising practice.
TRUSTEE BOARD - you can view our hugely passionate trustee board below. We bring a wealth of senior level experience from across business, social services, healthcare and charity.
7 PRINCIPLES OF CHARITY GOVERNANCE CODE - we annually review our activities against this code making sure we operate within our purpose, exercise integrity at all times, manage risks with appropriate controls, optimise our board effectiveness, and put equality and diversity into all our decision making.
FRAMEWORK OF ESSENTIAL POLICIES - all our policies are available on request to anybody, and include the following :
1. Health and safety at work policy.
2. Data Protection and Privacy Policy (GDPR).
3. Volunteer policy - note all our volunteers who have beneficiary contact do a DBS check.
4. Finance - reserves policy, anti money laundering, anti bribery, internal financial controls.
5. Risk management - we have a risk register with appropriate mitigations.
6. Safeguarding.
7. Complaints and appeal process for grant applications and awards.

James Turton
Trustee and Founder
James has a wealth of senior experience in both the charity and business sector. His last role was COO for Family Fund, one of the UKs largest grant giving charities. Prior to that he worked as a Director at some of the biggest UK businesses. He has substantial lived experience within the mental health space and is dedicated to help people struggling with mental illness. James is passionate about the outdoors and loves his landscape photography and says it's essential for his own mental wellbeing !

Dave Roberts
Trustee - Treasurer
Dave is a finance professional with over 40 years operating in the business sector, and more latterly has trustee experience in the charitable sector. He has always had a passion for both playing and watching sport, and has seen the positive impact that having an activity focus can have for those struggling with their mental health.

Suki Dosanjh
Trustee - outreach and science
Suki graduated in pharmacy and has spent a life working in pharmacy as a General Manager for Boots. She is passionate about patient outcomes, and the science behind activity and mental health improvement. Suki is married with 3 children, and lives in London.

Jon Eggleton
Trustee - partnerships and strategy
Jon is a chair and board advisor to a number of business startups. He is also a NED and Deputy Chair at Sheffield Children's NHS trust. Previously he was UK Managing Director of United Biscuits, and prior to that held a number of roles at Diageo, in both the UK and Singapore, and at HP Bulmer where he was a PLC board member. Jon is an enthusiastic golfer, dog walker and Crystal Palace supporter !

Nigel Thompson
Trustee - Governance and outreach
Nigel has significant senior manager experience in a range of local authority children's social services, before working for the Commission For Social Care Inspection. Nigel is currently Deputy Director Multi Agency operations, the independent regulator for health and social care. He has previous trustee experience for a children's mental health charity.

Simon Clarke
Trustee - Fundraising and outreach
Simon is an advisor to many businesses that are seeking to develop a presence in the Middle East, having worked there for many years. In his earlier career Simon worked for global businesses like Unilever in senior commercial roles. He is married, has 2 children, and lives in Hull and is passionate to use his businesses experience to help the charity raise the money it needs to help people living with mental illness.
